Chalk and Wire licenses are now assigned to all UG day students. The only Graduate degrees that have licenses are the School of Education. Instructors are now able to use Chalk and Wire in their classes without additional cost to the students. Please contact Lauren Andresen if you plan on using Chalk and Wire this term.
There are several new features in Chalk and Wire . Instructors can create a link in BB so students can submit to Chalk and Wire without creating a portfolio, students can once again create custom banners in their portfolio, instructors can also use audio comments in giving feedback to student’s work. All of these require a little extra training. The instructions are posted on the IS blog. Also, additional information is in the links section to the right. Please be in touch with Lauren Andresen if you have any questions.
For Students needing help,we are in the Ad Lab again on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4-8. The Student Resources page is available on this page to post on your Bb Site. It includes a link to the online help provided by Chalk and Wire.
Instructor training is done throughout the term as well on an individual basis.
Chalk and Wire created a resource called the Assessment Coach. It is a guide to starting program assessment within Chalk and Wire. It is posted under Program Assessment on this blog.
